Overview
This Web Application has been designed to run Online, Offline in a Browser, or as an Android Application on your Android device, Cellphone, or Tablet. Running the Android App. version on an Android device is the more reliable way to run this Application.
Clicking on the Result to PDF button will produce a pdf file of the entire screen page. This file will appear in your Downloads folder and have the name "tennis<todays Date>.pdf" . This is a good way to record your history of scores.
Its function is the generate up to 20 Doubles Tennis Rounds that are to be played on one Court. The initial number of Rounds displayed is 10. After 10 there will be a Prompt asking if you want another 10 Rounds displayed. The Maxium number of players it can handle for one Court is nine. The Pool of Players is unlimited.
Sets consist of a maximum of 9 Games. Players are assigned to each game in such a way as to vary each combination as much as possible. Players are assigned to a Left Hand or Right Hand side of the Court.
The winner is determined by the person who has the highest percentage of wins as against the number of games they have played.
Instructions:
Add players to your Pool. You need at least four players. Once you have assembled your Pool, make sure you Save it. You can then Reload that Saved list at anytime.
You can also Clear the Pool, which just Clears the Screen. It does not Clear your Saved List. You can create a new Pool at anytime and use it. You don't have to Save it to use it. It could be a Temporary List just to use for that occassion.
Once you have your Pool of Players set up you can then Appoint them to the Team to be played that day. Just Click on the Checkbox for each player you wish to Appoint to the Team today. If you make a mistake then Click on the Player in the Team or Untick their Checkbox, and they will be put back in the Pool and the Team List will shuffle up. The next appointed player will appear at the bottom of the list.
After you have Apointed the Players you want the Click on Start Game . As the Games progress enter the Scores after each Game in the Games Schedule. There is a maximum of 20 Rounds.
You can correct a Score combination at any time during session. Just click on the Left Hand Score, then the Right Hand Score for the Round you are updating, then click on Enter or the Enter Key if using a PC Keyboard. You will get a Prompt to confirm you want to make the change to that Round.
There is also a Results to PDF button, which will allow you to print out the whole Web Page Screen. This works well when run through the Browser, and on Android App. The pdf file named tennis<Date Played>.pdf will appear in your Downloads folder.
